Fuel TV is a Portuguese digital cable and satellite television action sports channel that is owned by Fluid Youth Culture (FYC) and Fuel TV founder, CJ Olivares. It is available on cable, satellite and IPTV platforms. It covers national and international action sports events, including skate, surfing, bodyboarding and mountain biking which are popular in Portugal. Fuel TV was included on Meo platforms in 2008 which actively supported the channel, as in the 2013 Summer X Games live HD broadcast from Barcelona. It became available on ZON TV Cabo (now NOS) in October 2011. Los Angeles-based Fuel TV existed since 2003 in the United States and started its European coverage in Portugal with Portugal-based FYC as representatives of the channel for the Europe, the Middle East and Africa region. In 2013, Fuel TV was replaced by Fox Sports 2 in the United States, but kept broadcasting around the globe, including in Portugal.
